Bookings & Payments

Customers must complete the online booking registration form and make the denoted payment attached to each course in order for their booking to be confirmed. Payment can be made online via PayPal or credit/debit card.

For any courses which require a deposit payment, an invoice for the remaining balance will be issued and is due for payment no less than 14 days' prior to course commencement. If payment is not received The Building Block reserve the right to cancel your place on the course and your deposit payment is non-refundable.

Cancellations

Cancellations should be made via email to cathy@worcestercommunitytrust.org.uk and cancellation of bookings with less than 7 days' notice are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations made with more than 7 days' notice are fully refundable.

The Building Block may, at their discretion, waive this cancellation period and issue a refund either partially or in full if a late cancellation is received.

The Building Block reserve the right to cancel courses and/or individual bookings without notice if necessary and will, as far as reasonably possible, transfer Customer bookings to the next available course date unless the Customer specifically requests otherwise.

The Building Block's obligations

The Building Block shall:

  1. Undertake reasonable endeavours to provide the training courses on the agreed course dates. The Building Block reserves the right to make reasonable variations to courses, including the content and session duration/dates without notice.

  2. Exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence in the delivery of all training courses, including ensuring that all tutors are appropriately qualified and experienced.

  3. Deliver all training courses in English and shall not be liable for any costs incurred by customers who require translators.

  4. Ensure that appropriate insurance is in place for all courses delivered.

The Customer's obligations

The Customer shall:

  1. Ensure that only the agreed Attendees attend the course sessions, and endeavour to arrive at the designated time - late arrival or absence is notifiable via email to cathy@worcestercommunitytrust.org.uk or via telephone on 07890727382.

  2. Ensure that all Attendees are sufficiently competent to attend their chosen course - prerequisites, if applicable, can be found within the course details online.

  3. Pay any invoices owing on the due dates for payment.

  4. Take reasonable precautions for their own health and safety onsite, including attending in suitable attire, and adhering fully to safety directions of course tutors.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform their obligations if such failure or delay is due to Force Majeure.

“Force Majeure” means any act, omission, cause of circumstance beyond the reasonable control of either party and shall include but not be limited to war, rebellion, civil commotion, strikes, lock outs, industrial disputes, fire, explosion, earthquake, volcanic eruption, act of God, flood, drought or other act or order of any government department, council or other constituted body.
